FAQs of Idea Genetation
1. What is Idea Generation?
· Idea Generation is an avenue for people to input their knowledge with regards to products and brand concept development by creating marketing strategy options and creative advertising concepts to further promote market good and products.
2. What are we required to do?
· For the elimination round, participating teams must come up with a paper that contains the outline with the following major headings: Situation Analysis, Consumer Analysis and Communication Strategy. (Please refer to the mechanics)
· Ten teams will be chosen and will move on to the final round. Here, teams are required to translate their ideas into videos to further explain their respective marketing plans and strategies.
3. How many members are required?
· Minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 members, all of which should be an official student of the same school.
4. Are teams allowed to have coach/es or instructors?
· Yes but only to the extent that the instructor is an official employee of that team’s school. Each team is entitled with one instructor for the rest of the competition.
5. How is the on-line voting done?
· When the ten finalists are determined, they will be given a deadline on when they should submit their videos for the final round. After which, all ten videos will be uploaded din our official Facebook page for public viewing. The video that will garner the most number of likes will get the highest grade in this specific of criteria for judging.
